12 oz. can, courtesy of andrewje41 (Andrew), pours a cloudy dark amber brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is very caramely, with lots of piney, earthy hops, sweet caramel and bready malt. Flavour is very malty, with lots of caramel, bready malt, and some piney hops. Very piney but also too sweet. Still, solid stuff.

6 pack of cans picked up at the local grocer, and enjoyed over the last several days of football and holiday festivities. A really nice, classic IPA to enjoy right out of the can, and to keep them coming. Aroma is the advertised piney constant. Pleasant and inviting. A cool piney taste that is fitting for a late autumn release. Really refreshing IPA here.

On tap at the brewery pours out pale straw color tops with a white head. Nose is floral like grassy Hops and some cereal malt. Taste is more of the light hops floral up front then a cereal straw malt finish.

12 oz can poured, gifted from Matt. Thanks! Golden orange pour, soft haze, and what seems like an infinite foam head. I'm actually pretty bummed I missed the last brew in this series. A series I hope continues. Solid IPA here. Thick, juicy body to it, with a bitterness that is a bit on the aggressive side, but it seems appropriate. Juicy grapefruit like citrus with a bite. Sweet malt background. No shortage of flavor in this IPA. Enjoyed this.

Can, Shell station. Sweet, sticky, rich bitterness, chewy, very DIPA in character. The chewiness and alcohol note define it, rather than citrus character. Drinks bigger than 6.8%.

12 oz can from Hop and Hound. An unexpected find here, but glad that Hale's has put this one out there. Super refreshing IPA here, and the advertised juiciness is no understatement. As long as the local breweries keep putting out these new, interesting cans for pocket change, I'm never going to get bored. Best part about this brew is the aroma that can be picked up from a distance. Right when you crack the can, a wave of fresh peach and fruit punch jumps out. Appearance only seems semi thick. Less than moderate haze, with plenty of foam head. Much thicker, creamier, juicier mouthfeel than the appearance would indicate. Flavor is a lot of the same from the aroma, only a little grainier, a little more bitter than expected. I've had a couple others, very rarely, with a similar flavor profile. Reminds me of juicy fruit gum, but in hazy IPA form. Overall, a surprisingly good, very interesting IPA. Really enjoyed this.

Draft pour at Hop and Hound. A very thick caramel brown pour. Think this is the bottom of the keg. I sampled this a little while back, and it wasn't this thick. Aroma is tart up front. Black cherry, hinted vinegar. Flavor is sturdy malt, cool juicy cherry, and a less than expected sour flavor, as indicated by the aroma. This is strange for sure, but definitely not bad. A little rich. Dessert like sour here. Was surprised to be reminded that this is 9%. Drinks lighter, and has a smooth and tasty finish. Pretty good beer here.
