Dark brown, with a thin head. The bourbon character is quite abundant on the nose, with some toffee/brown sugar and maybe a bit of nuttiness. The bourbon character is sweet, but offers up more nuance than usual. The toffeeish malts blend nicely with this, and then there’s a hit of alcohol. Not 100% on the base beer, but the barrel character is really nice.

22 oz. bottle. Nose is quite hot, with loads of bourbon barrels upfront, followed by vanilla and booze. Flavour brings out a lovely bourbon barrel character, followed by wood and booze. The bourbon barrel character is really lovely, which pretty much characterizes this. Lovely barrel character. Very good.

Draught at Wig Wam last night so they must be brewing it again. A very pleasant orange with a white head. Fresh, juicy citrus notes throughout. A mild toasted malt backbone carries it just enough but the player on the scene is the citrus. Finish is full of that juicy citrus and get a tad sweet. Very enjoyable DIPA.

Copper orange. A bit gruff from the rye with nice citrus notes throughout. The rye adds just enough spice to let the citrus grab on to something. Refreshing and flavorful. Very nice IPA.

Can at home, 18/02/17. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off white head. Nose is caramel malts, bitter orange, toasted grains, straw, biscuit, earthy hops. Taste comprises grapefruit, light floral schmack, caramel malt, toasted bread, orange peel, grains, sweet licks. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close doused with hop bitterness. Ok IPA .. old Skool malt forward funtime stylee.

Draft pour pint at Hale’s, Seattle. Hazy, pale yellow color pour. A saison that I expected to be a fruit bomb, but it was actually balanced nicely. Slight fruit in a Belgian like beer, no sweetness really to speak of. Cool, and very refreshing. Juicy apricot and peach. Slightly tea like. Very tasty.

355ml can. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney and fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of orange, mandarine, caramel malty background. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, piney and slightly fruity, hints of mandarine, orange, zesty bitterness, caramel malty basis, a light jelly bear touch; slightly water finish.

355ml can [4.7% abv]. A canned Weizen - dear me! Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small, frothy, rapidly fading, minimally lacing, white head. Adequate, sweet-ish, wheaty and fruity Hefeweizen aroma, notes of banana, dried banana, some pear, hints of banana leaves, a touch of clove, floral yeasty overtones. Taste is moderately sweet wheaty, fruity, notes of pear juice, banana, dried banana, hints of banana leaves; minimally watery interludes, soft to flat carbonation.
