There is no chance that I have never had this beer. I know I’ve had it, and I can recall having it many times, so I was very surprised when I ripped this can open during the football games, and hopped on to see what I rated it, I had nothing to see. In that case, thanks for the can/new rate luttonm! Pours a thick, glowing orange, with moderate sediment, and a thick foam head and lacing. Juicy orange hop aroma. Flavor is steady hop bitterness, balanced with a rich malt bill. Pretty good IPA here. A classic IPA that I’m not surprised it has remained in bars all around Seattle as their IPA option. Has it’s slight flaws in my opinion, but as an overall, a solid IPA here.

12 oz can, gifted by lutton, and paired with football. Definitely an 11 am, a lot of football games to watch kind of beer. A light golden pour with tons of carb, rocky head. A clean, slightly floral, inviting grain aroma. Flavor is crisp, cool, simple to drink. Some fruitiness hiding in there. Refreshing. A nicely put together kolsch, with lots of right going for it. UPDATE: Draft pint at Toronado for Pint Night. Kegged today. Awesome! This beer deserves more credit. Delicious, and exceptional for the style. Drink fresh.

12 oz can, gift by luttonm. Not sure if he thought the gift was him giving the can, or me taking the can off his hands. Either way, I got a beer in my hand, I’m happy. A golden, hazy pour with a full foam cloud cover head. Juicy and hoppy, bright aroma. Flavor is creamy, a bit juicy, solid hop profile. No real bitterness noticeable througout. Drinks easy. Always nice to see a beer that’s been around since years before I was, and still on the shelves today. A good beer to keep a few ice cold, and enjoy, while taking in some ball games. Seems fitting anyway.

Draft 10 oz pour at Hale’s. Clear golden, carb heavy pour with a thick foam head. Soft fruity hop aroma. Flavor is hop constant, without any real bitterness to speak of. I usually run into a lot of it with these sessions, and I’m impressed with this. Very cool and refreshing beer. Solid session.

Hazy yellow with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a light sweetness and some floral notes. The balance is good though. It stays quite fresh on the palate.
