Draught @ Neckarsulmer Brauhaus, Felix-Wankel-Strasse 9, Neckarsulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany 74172.Murky - muddy matt medium brown colour with a average to large, creamy to frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, sweet malt, light brown sugar, unfinished. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, malty, caramel, nutty bitter, light coffee with sugar. IMO. unfinished alike. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121002]

Cloudy blond color; compact head, peristent. The hop aroma is very nice, not only grassy, but also a bit fruity, fresh. Dry mouthfeel, correct body, some malt flavor, very light crispness, decent bitterness, with traces of aromatic hops. Pleasant, dry final. Good.

Cloudy blond color; creamy head, compact. Nice aroma of noble hops, but not much persistent. Quite good malt flavor, with a hint of crispiness and a good body structure; also the hopping is quite good, even if not excessively aromatic. The final is well balanced, bitter, and a bit biscuity. Very good; pleasant.

Draught at the bräuhaus
Dark color, red and brown; creamy beige head. Light aroma of roasted malt. Dry mouthfeel, lean body, with a strong flavor of roasted malt, almost burnt; the first impact is surprising and aggressive, then it gets a bit more balanced, correct bitterness; still some heavily roasted malts in the end, when also the body becomes a bit stronger and a litle residual sugar appear. They can’t decide between Dunkles and Märzen, and they propose a Schwarzbier.

Draught at the bräuhaus
Muddy orange-amber color; creamy head. The aroma is spicy; also a bit sour and metallic. Correct body structure; the mouthfeel is quite dry, but there is a decent malt flavor, a bit soapy, with light banana and light spices, overall quite pleasant; but the final is a bit too weak. Not bad, but short.
