Opaque black beer, big fluffy tan head. Palate is smooth with mild carbonation. Chocolate! Slightly tangy milk chocolate and a lesser tone of drinking chocolate and that somewhat powdery chocolate you associate with cheap sweets. A hint of tangy chocolate orange. Finishes semi dry. Trace of banana and bubblegum ester. Mild minerals and a little dark chocolate. Harmless fun!

Bottle 22fl.oz.Clear dark brown red colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, cacao, light alcohol. Flavour is light heavy sweet with a long duration, chocolate, fruity - riped something ! maybe it is yeast, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121109]

22 oz. bottle, pours a dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma is pure chocolate, a bit of candied sugar and some mild Belgian-esque notes. Flavour is pure liquid chocolate, a bit of dark fruits, more chocolate, and lots of candied sugar. Quite sweet but in no way cloying. Like pure liquid chocolate. Great stuff.

22 oz bomber shared by beastiefan2k. The pour is a lightly hazed light yellow, with a smallish white head. The aroma is soft malt, some floral hop, and not too much else. The taste is the lightly sweet floral malt and hops, slightly brash malt quality, and the yeast shows pretty strong in the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, lower carbonation level, and a yeasty slightly dirty finish. Not all that clean. Thanks for sharing this one Eugene.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours light orange with a transient bubbly head. Aroma is pie spice with a earthy note. Med minus body. There’s pie spice, arguably squash, but there’s an earthy character - perhaps from the yeast. Certainly interesting. Might even argue there’s some sour here. In the back of the throat.
