From cask at Bibo in Bologna (ABV listed as 6.4%). Pours very dark brown with a bubbly brown head. Sweet and heavy ginger aroma. No carbonation. Seems a bit dead but not completely gone. Flavour is dry and slight acidic to herbal with mellow ginger note. I hate ginger in beer, but this is not what is putting me off here - it works out okay - but the cask is just dead by now (been on for a couple of weeks and slight too warm). Acidic flavour with slight chocolate smoothness and liqourice sharpness, intruiging blend. Somewhat chemical in the finish. Not my style but not offensive by any means.

Cask@GBBF2007. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is spices, malts and some hops. Flavour is spicy, malty and hoppy. Quite watery palate.

Cask@GBBF2007. Dark hazy orange colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sour fruits, yeast, caramel and some malts. Flavour is fruits, hops and caramel, quite sweetish.

Cask, GBBF 07 ... again i liked it so bah humbug to the others :-) ... Clowdy yellow ... sweet orangey fruit nose .. soft and gentel citric fruityness.

Cask, GBBF 07 ... well against the grain here i enjoyed it at gbbf . clowdy orange ... sweet mellow hop nose ... very fruity ... light sweet mellow hop.
