On tap at Independent, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light lacto, some citrus, and light spiciness. Flavour is a lacto bomb, with lots of yogurt, a touch of citrus and a hint of earthy spiciness. Lacto bomb all over. Nice stuff.

On tap at Independent, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out lots of oatmeal and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is robust, with lots of dry oats, toasted malt and a bit of hoppy bitterness for good balance. Bone dry but hearty and full-bodied. A fantastic example of the style.

On tap at Independent, pours a hazy amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops and caramel malts. Flavour is maltier than the Stash, with resinous hops and caramel bready malt. Piney and resinous, with a bready malt finish. Solid, but I much prefer the Stash.

On tap at Independent, pours a clear golden with s small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, some herbal notes and biscuity malt. Flavour is robust, with dry piney hops, some dankness and crisp biscuity malt. Perfectly balanced, with lots of punch and a dry finish. Expertly brewed IPA.

33 cl bottle @ home. Thanks Timo A!
No ABV or BBE info on bottle
Aroma has cocoa, some hay and some chocolate. Fizzy and somewhat foamy palate. Flavour has artifical vanilla, some salty licorice and mild pot coffee tones. Also some lactic acid – I wonder if there’s even a small contamination here. The amount of CO2 tries to ruin the show here.

Can thanks to Chow. Pours a hazy copper with medium off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is berry, leather, earth. Thin body, leather, berry, malty, earth, light tartness, decent.

Bottle at the Continental Club in Austin while listening to James McMurtry. Pours clear, brownish red with a white froth on top. The nose holds leaves, toasty grains. Light to medium sweet flavour with more grainy malts, some dried berries, leafy hops, earth. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. More of the same in the finish - leafy bitterness, toasted grains. So so overall.

Tap at The Brass Tap, Austin. Dark brown color, not much head. Rye bready, toasted aroma. Medium-bodied. Burned malty, a bit boozy, bready flavor. Oat makes this smooth. Not so balanced for my liking but ok.
