Richly malty, with caramel flavours to the fore; sulphur note (perhaps more than my comfort level); rather yeasty, but develops complexity). Very english-tasting, not the usual Big Time fare.

A very firm brew. Highly reminiscent of peach schnapps, with some soft malt flavours and a light pepperiness in the finish.

I had this made with Amarillo hops, one of the young Turk varieties of the hop world. Robust bitterness, cedary, lightly citric flavours; very refreshing.

Silky sweet malt. Light in body, but it works..............................

Cloudy light amber. Woody- slightly citric cascadey nose. Light pale malts and refreshing woody bitterness. Actually fairly light, and not as bright as the best examples. Quite competent, but lacks the wow factor that today’s PNW IPAs have.

Tastes and smells like a clovey apple pie. Man, it's been a while since I had a really good apple pie. Hey mom, if you see this can you pop a pie in the mail for me?

Vibrant ruddy brown colour. Hazy. No head. Soft and sweet body, with back notes of toffee and top notes of cherries. Light leafy hops and gorgeous malts...very simple but very effective. Gets rich late. A quiet barley wine.
