On tap at Addictions Bar & Grill, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, oats, and dry cocoa. Flavour is earthy, with notes of oats, earthy qualities and light roast. A bit muffled and fungal on the finish. Not too well-brewed. Meh.

32oz growler, filled at Craft 64, pours with a crystal clear deep gold body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up a blend of tangelo, light pineapple, spicy onion and some mango. OK, this is going well. Alright, the taste follows suit as I get a bitter and juicy blend of tangelo, pineapple and mango running up against spicy bitter onion like earthy hoppiness. It gets a little softer to midway as a modest sweet malt base lets you know it’s there and it’s providing solid footing for this hop bill. Damn. This is just solid. Into the finish I get an occasional flash of mint and faint hints of earthy tea too. Solid crushable IPA where the beer is pretty crisp and the body is on the sessionable light side. Taste and feels a little like Sculpin. I hope to get more fresh growlers of this as the temps exceed 110F as this will be a terrific hot weather brew. Solid!!
