Bottle: Pale greenish-golden, no head; clean sweetish grainy-dusty nose, a bit chalky, too; sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied; sweetish-grainy finish with molecular traces of bitterness. Simple Niederbayern Bier, boring..........

Bottle:Pale greenish-golden, no head; faint herbal-hoppy traces in the grainy-malty nose; light bodied, light sweet-bitter flavour; delicate hoppy bitterness in the mainly sweetish-grainy finish. Not very different to the Urtyp Hell...........

5.9/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 5 Flavor 6 Texture 6 Overall 6.5
Bottle: Clear, golden, smaller foamy white layer; papery and pale-malty nose; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; increasing dry "woody" hoppiness in the solid sweet-bitter finish. Tastes better than it smells............

5.9/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 4 Overall 5.5
Bottle: Hazy, big - nearly - stable beige with a little lace; aromas of bread-crusts and caramel in the light wheaty-fruity nose; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light bodied; short caramelly and tart finish. Not that bad, but a bit thin..........

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass is very zippy, small head. Starts a bit sourish, quite hoppy, not too dry. Finish a bit metallically, modest spicy, still hoppy and fresh. I liked it!

The bottle looks old-fashioned, but good. The beer in the glass quite zippy, small creamy head. Starts sweet-hoppy, quite malty and spicy, not really dry. Finish still sweet and well balanced. Good pilsener!

6.1/10 Appearance 4 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 8 Overall 6.5
Bottle: Deep ruby-amber coloured, quickly collapsing fluffy off-white head; quite restrained nose of toasted malt, molasses; a bit sticky, medium to full bodied, moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour; "thick" sweet finish with a detectable dash of toasted malt, followed by a light but increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad, but a bit simple........

Test vom 25.4.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,9,12,9,11,9 - 9,45

CO2-armer Antrunk, cremig (dunkel-) malzig, leicht alkoholisch. Test vom 8.4.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 4,8,9,9,13,9 - 8,55
