On tap. Pours with a deep black hued body with a lasting, deep tan head. Aromas are of strong and dark chocolate, raisins, light heat, earthy, fudge and mild esters. Sipping the beer gives you a mild nasal/back of the throat burn. Flavors are of dry roast, chocolate, bready malt, plums, grainy, and some lactose character. Fuller bodied, lower carbonation.

Draft @ Double Horn Brewing. Pours black with a half finger of nut brown head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and roasty pecans. Taste is light bitter. Coffee and pecans. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a long coffee-chocolate finish. Overall, not bad. I would drink this again given the chance.
