The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Deep black, nice head. Starts mild, but not washy. Roasty-malty, not too dry. Modest rusty-woody notes in the background that make the beer interesting. Very drinkable, good beer!

Had this at the Bergrestaurant Schwedenstein in Steina. In the winter that’s the only place where this beer is available. Looks good in the glass, modest turbid, creamy head. Starts mild, a bit fruity like lemon and apricot. Becomes more and more yeasty without being too dry. Well balanced finish, quite drinkable. Not bad!

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Sweet-spicy aroma. Tastes the same. Starts very spicy, absolutely no dryness. The spicyness takes a short break in the finish, but is back in the aftertaste. Well balanced. Interesting beer!

Bottle 50cl. at home.Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate lime. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [150908]

Bottled@Fonefan. Pale yellow colour, not much head. Aroma is lemon, some other fruits and mild notes of hay. Flavour is the same with hay being more evident than it was in the aroma.

Süßlich-getreidiger Geruch. Auch im Antrunk getreidig, hier würziger als erwartet und leicht hopfig. Der Antrunk ist hier bedeutend für den weiteren Geschmack, der Hopfen wirkt eher wie bei einem pils, daher folgt auch eine deutliche, zum Ende knackige Herbe. I bought this bottle on eBay. I don’t really know where it was brewed. Not much information on the internet. It says that Böhmisch Brauahus helps brewing the beer at Stolpen castle in Saxony. Anywaqy, the bee ris clear and golden yellow with a rather large head. Well-balanced, quite hoppy with a solid malty base.

Draught at BBF07. Clear pale yellow colour. Small, stable, creamy white head. The flavour is clean with some aroma hops. A little sweet hoppiness, though the itself is not sweet. Rather thin mouthfeel, but with some flavour.

Draught at BBF07. Cloudy orange colour. Small, creamy white head. Good spicy flavour, not so much banana. Creamy mouthfeel, pleasant carbonation. Nice, flavourful and refreshing.

Draught. Fruity aroma. Malty flavour with medium bitterness. Nicely hop aromatic and with a good, naturtrübiness in both flavour and mouthfeel.
