Description
Mike Hess Brewing is one of the premier craft breweries of San Diego. We set out with a mission to bring people together over great beer and were early on in the craft beer revolution. We were the region’s 33rd brewery back in 2010 when our first location, then a nano-brewery, in Miramar was opened. Now, in our 10th year, we have 5 locations in California, including the “OG” spot, which has since tripled in size!

Draught @ the brewpub, San Diego. Aroma has honey, some apricot and mild fruity notes. Flavour has minerals, honey, some odd chlorine vibes and cereal. Finishes with some lingering hoppiness with minerals. These honey beers are still not my thing. This is not oversweet but stickiness eats the drinkability.

Draught @ the brewpub, San Diego. Aroma is nice with strong coffee notes - and quite nothing else. Flavour has cold coffee, some bready malt, gooseberry bush leaves and menthol. Better than basic grazias, coffee saves a lot here.
