Pitch black color. Massive bourbon nose with some oak, dark chocolate and dark fruit. Moderately sweet, alcohol is well hidden, lots of bourbon, plums and dark chocolate. Very rounded. Plums really shine in te mouth. Lingering bourbon finish. Alcohol warms you at the end. Wow.

Cask at GBBF 2013. It pours black with a thick light tan head. The nose is roasty, earth, marshmallow, vanilla, fudge, toasted coconut, coffee, whiskey and medicinal notes. The taste is rich-roasted malt, earth, toast, coffee, medicinal, wood, spice, vanilla, alcohol hit, ash, light bitterness and treacle with a dry, roasty finish. Full body, soft carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Quite mellow actually.... Smooth, flavoursome and well-balanced.

Cask at gbbf 2013. Sticky opaque black oily. Nose is kamp coffee sweet caramel. Flavour is coffee cake bold roast sweet . dessert beer.

Gravity @ gbbf, small sample. Dark color, short brown head. Aroma of bourbon, biscuit, roast, chocolate, coffee. Thick roasty. Medium sweet, bit bitter. Nicely balanced, good complexity.

Bottle - thanks cocoapuph! Pours cloudy light amber, with a medium off-white head and great lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, yeast, some tropical notes. Flavor is the same, light bitter and light sweet in good balance. Light body, a refreshing and tasty beer!
