Bottle bought in San Miniato and shared in good company with a lovely view. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma is intense dark malts, some chocolate and cacao, fig, molasses. Full bodied. Flavour is quite sweet with intense dark malt flavours. Lots of molasses, chocolate, some berry notes. Quite bitter along with a light sour tang. Quite nice.

Tap at Fakin. Slightly hazy coppery-red body, off-white head. Lemon and ginger in the aroma. Lean, dry, sourish taste, vague ginger, vague sweetish touches that might be hibiscus. A bit empty, too light for its own good in a way, but fine.
Has a lot of the classic big barleywine characteristics. Comes across a fit flat and slightly sweet though. Decent, but below avg in-style. Goblet zagreb

Can, Craft Room, Ljubljana. Clear red, tiny pink white head, not lasting. Mild fruit tea nose with some more lemon and later some gentle ginger. Mild sourness, lemony and tart finish. Mild aftertaste. Light, a bit watery body. Nicely drinkable.

On tap at Lajbah, Ljubljana. Dark brown with almost no head. Malty, caramel, some dried fruit, figs, peat, whisky, some wood. Warming, but alcohol is not overpowering. Sweetish.

još jedna točena od Reservoir Dogsa. Iz istog restorana u Kobaridu kao ona IPA istog proizvođača. Piva je OK, lagana, pitka i fina. Za razliku od pizze koju smo jeli tamo, ovo bi probao i opet.
