Bottle shared by Werckmeister at Bratislava Slovak-Austrian RB Tasting, thanks!
Dark brown body, with a medium, creamy, beige head.
Aroma of grapefruit, pine, resin, coffee, cocoa, some dark chocolate, slight ash.
Taste follows this, while being a bit less roasty, very smooth.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes smooth, roasty, with coffee, cocoa, citrus, zest, some pine.

Tasty. Very smooth and greatly balanced. Resinious hops, with creamy coffee and chocolate notes. Really pleasant.

Bottle. Aroma hoppy, fruity, exotic, grassy. Very dark colour. Taste kind of resembling Captain Morgan in the finish. Spicy woody, lots of hops, even light roasted notes. Quite interesting and good one.

Last rate of the Ljubljanski Pivski Festival 2015? Got it at the very end, they said it was Warrior, so boo if it wasn’t, don’t see why it wouldn’t be. Anyway, full dark amber body, small white head. Fruity, full, malty aroma, light apricot jam. Fresh, more apricots, maybe a tad sour? Will rerate, the notes are a mess.

Ljubljanski Festival Piva 2015, shared with Ogivlado. Poured a black body with an off white, creamy head that went away slowly. Lovely, creamy coffee & chocolate aroma with a somewhat lighter than expected hoppy presence. The taste, however, is a contrast to that, lovely citric to herhal hopiness, slightly dank, backed by an OK, lasting bitterness, roasty, slightly ashy, which mixed well with the hops, fresh and damn nice! Hats off to Reservoir Dogs. A well deserved No. 4 of the competition.

Fresh keg, May 2018... The aroma's nearly the same almost slightly green, but the taste is lovely full sweetish peach ice tea, with scant herbal touches and low bitterness. Very nice really! Ljubljanski Festival Piva 2015, shared with ogivlado (thanks!). Poured a murky dark amber body with a white head. Dry maltiness in the aroma blending with apricot jam, interesting, though not too IPA-ish. Grainy, pleasant taste, not too hoppy, lacking in bitterness, somewhat dank. It’s a good beer, though not perhaps a good IPA. Ogi liked it much more than I have I think. 6/4/6/4/13

What a way to start Ljubljanski Festival Piva 2015! All these new breweries showed up and I made sure not to check on the beers before, not to have any positive or negative preconceptions. And the first one we tried was a pleasant surprise. The reaper poured a full, slightly darker golden body with a medium sized white head. Fresh, hoppy aroma, tropical fruit, apricot, solid malty backbone. Nice citric touch on a slightly rock candyish malty background taste-wise. Somehow not overly sweet. Not too bitter. Good beer indeed, though not great.
