Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a clear deep golden with a creamy and lacing off-white head. Very sweet Bourbon aroma. Medium body, a dry fruitiness, heavy, heavy vanilla and oak but remains dry. Quite subtle, the fairly neutral really absorbs the Bourbon big time. Nice. 161211

On tap at GABF. Pours with a clear very light orange to copper hued body. Aroma of bourbon, cereal, light tannins, oak, caramel and bready. Bourbon dominates the aroma. Flavors are a bit watery in comparison. Still quite boozy, caramel, toasted malts, bourbon. Tannic, a bit thin, boozy.

Old rating. Sampled from the tap at 2010 FOBAB. Poured a hazy creamy gold with a light brown head that lasted throughout the beer and laced nicely. Aroma had a light grain note with some light fruit and a hint of bourbon. Flavor began with light fruit but quickly was taken over by grain and bourbon. There was a bit of a floral note as well.

Sampled from the tap at 2010 FOBAB. Poured a clear amber with a tan head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of bourbon with sweet grain and a nice caramel malt note that balanced the bourbon. Flavor began with sweet grain and caramel and was balanced by bourbon coming out in the finish. Nice and smooth on the tongue.

Tasted at the Cincinnati location. An interesting attempt at the style. Light and clear orange color with a thin white head. Thin but slow lacing. The aroma is sweet and fruity. Medium bodied with strong fruit (banana) and candy flavors. Leans a little far on the sweet side, especially in the finish but overall this is a decent beer.
