Bottle. Brown beer with a lightly sour aroma and a fruity and sour flavour. Overall a reasonable beer that seems quite standard.

Fles 37,5cl thuis. Errug zuur. Prima te drinken. Wat nadrukkelijker dan de echte gueuzetoppers. (11-2007).

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and pale yellow with a dense white head. Yeasty and slight spiced aroma. Flavour is somewhat watery yet with a mild hoppy flavour and a very subdued bitterness. Ends much the same way.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a minimal diminished white head. Aroma holds a mild barnyard, slight yeasty and quite mellow aroma, nothing sharp. Flavour is quite clean, acidic with a mellow citric note. Ends with a nice woody note. Very soft brew, smooth and pleasant - perhaps also a bit too lazy.

Huge offwhite coarse head. Deep hazy yellow body with carbonation. Dry sharpish barnyard and grain aroma with metallic acid notes. Thin dry acidic taste with grainy metallic background. Sharp and intense, but still somehow not unpleasant. Quite nice (0.75l bottle, 1999 vintage, RBNAG’07.)

Small, nearly gone head - BUT HEAD! - over hazy straw-golden beer. Citrus, fresh lemon, kafir leaf, obvious Bretts. Hunch of sweetness, under all the classical sourish (lactic, even acetic, fruity) acids. Very tasty, interesting fatty acids & esters. Ends very earthy. Titillating MF, very dry, tart & dry-out effect. NOT a real "loeierik", any longer, becoming a gueuze.
