0.375 l bottle from 'Rebelbeercans', blend no. 57, bottled in March 2022. Hazy, golden orange with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, sourish, rather fruity and quite funky aroma of overripe lemon, horse blanket, gooseberry, oak, leather and hints of mirabelle. Slightly sweetish, gently sour, rather fruity and quite funky taste of overripe lemon, gooseberry, yoghurt, horse blanket, oak, leather, hints of vinegar and light mirabelle, followed by a medium long, quite tart, gently woody-dry finish. Above medium-bodied, gently astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very well-balanced, rather intense but still fairly refreshing Geuze. If you hear 'platinum blend' you expect something from out of this world, it's maybe just not like that but still a fairly remarkable brew.
