Draft - Raisin, prune and a touch of cherry. Deep Amber with a decent beige head. Sweet raisin and dark sugars. Not overly complex, but very drinkable.

Schooner draft at Tippe and Drague in Beacon Hill, Seattle. Dark brown color. A surprisingly good dubbel from an American brewer. No strong esters or banana. Not to sweet, but a little slick sweetness. Low bitterness. A brown biscuit with Belgian malt flare flavor. Could use a bit more eathiness and even less sweetness. But this would definitely be something I could return to again.

On tap at Flyer's Restaurant, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out loads of coffee, with a small hint of cocoa. Flavour reveals notes of stale coffee grounds, no where near as nice as the nose, with earthy notes at the end. This is like old coffee grounds. Not good.

On tap at Flyer's Restaurant, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a cloudy golden with a small white head. Flavour brings out lots of rye hops, some fruitiness, and more rye. Quite earthy and sharp, but well-balanced. A little harsh, but not bad.

On tap at Flyer's Restaurant, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, some dry cocoa and a touch of dry coffee. Flavour is quite nice, with roasted and toasted malt, some dry cocoa and again a touch of coffee. Quite flavourful and robust. Easily the best of Flyer's mainstay beers.

4.4/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 4 Flavor 4 Texture 4 Overall 4.5
On tap at Flyer's Restaurant, pours a dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is subtle, with toasted malt and a touch of toasted nuts. Flavour is bland, with stale toasted malt and some earthy notes. Not very interesting at all. Not overly drinkable either.

4.8/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 4 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 5
On tap at Flyer's Restaurant, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is nearly non-existent on the nose. Flavour is not much more exciting, with light bready malts and a little hops to balance. Very boring and bland amber ale, but drinkable.

5.6/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 4 Overall 5.5
On tap at Flyer's Restaurant, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma and flavour reveal dry piney hop notes, some light herbal and enough crackery malt to back. Not the most interesting IPA, but everything is in proportion. A little astringent on the finish.
