75 cl bottle, sampled on Feb 14, 2014.Clear golden color, no head, no legs. Sweet, floral, some alcohol scent. Sweet, honey, sugary, some soap taste. Rose petal aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, sweet finish with some alcohol.

Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, beeswax, honey, fruity. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20111030]

Bottle, 75cl. Looking rather ugly this one, with a muddy, brown body. Lots of honey on the nose, some flowers and alcohol. Some sugary sweetness too. The flavor is quite alcoholic, with lots of honey and a dash of flowers. Rather sweetish. Full-bodied and warming. Long finish with honey and warmth. A mead that certainly proves looks isn’t all.
