Bottle @ fonefan tasting. No head. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet honey, alcohol and sugar. Warming but quite sweet.

Bottled. A hazy amber mead. The aroma has notes of honey, and a of spice. The flavor is sweet with honey, pollen, and some lemon, leading to a dry woody finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Clear orangey golden. Spicy, herbal and fresh aroma. Solid body, again herbal, spicy - almost minty - with lots of beeswax on top of very sweet, thick, rich and syrupy honey. Quite some heat in the finish. Gets a little too heavy and cloying after a while. 111011

Corked bottle, from Chemins de Bretagne, Paris; at least 2 years old

There is a thin sediment in the bottle; it pours a deep yellow color, hazy. The aroma is mild, quite fresh, with some honey but also light fruits (apples come to mind). The body is lean, the mouthfeel is sweet (how can the label define it as demi-sec/semi-dry?); it has a moderate honey flavor, luckily without a flowery accent, light fruitiness, light acidity and just a shade of bitterness.
Dynamic, fresh and balanced; very good.

75 cL bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours cloudy golden orange, no head. Aroma is fruity, honey, vague bubblegum and sweet. Sweet flavoured, light rubber note, honey, fruity and light bubbelgum. Lingering sweet and fruity finish.
