Vintage 2008. Bottle from Firefly Maple Ride, pours a crystal clear faded yellow. Nose is quite vinous for an ice cider, with caramelized apples and medium sweetness. Flavour is medium complex, with caramel, baked apples, medium-high alcohol, and medium sweetness. Low viscosity and light mouthfeel for the style. Not the most elegant ice cider out there, but it certainly is well-balanced.

Slight greenish colour, light apple, touch of spice, soft, supple, balanced acidity in the finish. Not the most intense iced cider, but good.

Pale, snappy acidity in the front, dash of apple then the nectarine. Fizz is light. Still a touch of alcohol cuts in late.

375 ml bottle. Clear golden body without any head. Outstanding aroma of sweet apples, mild citric fruit and noble alcohol. Flavor is sweet apple, hint of citric fruit and warming alcohol. My first ice cider and a really positive surprise. Delicious.

Bottle 375ml. clear glass. [ As Rustic Roots Iced Apple ]. [ Vintage 2008 ]. Clear medium orange yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apples, sweet apples, wood, vanilla, candy apple ! Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, sweet apples, peppery. Body is medium to full, texture is syrupy to oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light to light moderate alcoholic. Nice ;O) [20111126]

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Comes as: "Rustic Roots Iced Apple", 2008 vintage. Pours golden with a slight haze. Intense and intensely sweet apple aromas, almost candied apples. Solid body, intense apples yet with a slight fruity tartness. Warming alcohol finish. Nice if not the hottest Ice Cider. 261111

Bottle @ Early Winter Gathering season 11/12, Ulfborg. Pours clear golden with bubbles on top. Soft and spicy. Sweet red apples and cinnamon. Dry and quite tasty with a pleasant warmth from alcohol.
