Taste is bitter, fruity and tiny phenolic with crackers, grapefruit juice, pineapple, passion fruit, gooseberries, star fruit, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, grass, lemon zest and grape skins. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry and light bodied. Finish is slightly bitter, fruity and slightly phenolic with crackers, passion fruit, grape skins, grass, dry soil, white pepper corns, white grapes and hints dill. Very hoppy modern saison. Smell is heavy malty and tiny fruity with toasted malts, pumpernickel bread, raisins, St. John’s wort, hay, plums, caramel, moss, butterscotch hard candy and chocolate fudge. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, pumpernickel bread, golden syrup, hay, raisins, soil, sweetened dark roast coffee, chocolate, fudge, butterscotch hard candy, burnt wood, sweet liqurioce candy and hints of dried pine needles. Mouthfeel is round, creamt, tiny roasted astringent and medium to full bodied. finish is tiny sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, pumpernickel bread, St. John’s wort, rasisins, cocoa powder, dark roast coffee, burnt wood, sweet liquorice candy and coffee. Very drinkable, tasty and balanced Baltic Porter.
