Draught @ BBB. Pours very hazy pale orange with a huge frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is fruity and tiny phenolic with crackers, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, gooseberries, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, white grapes and star fruit. Taste is bitter, fruity and tiny phenolic with crackers, grapefruit juice, pineapple, passion fruit, gooseberries, star fruit, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, grass, lemon zest and grape skins. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry and light bodied. Finish is slightly bitter, fruity and slightly phenolic with crackers, passion fruit, grape skins, grass, dry soil, white pepper corns, white grapes and hints dill. Very hoppy modern saison. Draught @ BAJT. Pours black with a big frothy dark mocha head that slowly dissipates while leaving some very thick lacing on the glass. Smell is heavy malty and tiny fruity with toasted malts, pumpernickel bread, raisins, St. John’s wort, hay, plums, caramel, moss, butterscotch hard candy and chocolate fudge. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, pumpernickel bread, golden syrup, hay, raisins, soil, sweetened dark roast coffee, chocolate, fudge, butterscotch hard candy, burnt wood, sweet liqurioce candy and hints of dried pine needles. Mouthfeel is round, creamt, tiny roasted astringent and medium to full bodied. finish is tiny sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, pumpernickel bread, St. John’s wort, rasisins, cocoa powder, dark roast coffee, burnt wood, sweet liquorice candy and coffee. Very drinkable, tasty and balanced Baltic Porter.

Draught @ Ölrepubliken. Pours tiny hazy golden with a small frothy white head that leaves lots of spotty trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty and slightly fruity with buttered bread, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles and unripe tropical fruit. Taste is bitter, tiny malty and slightly fruity with buttered white bread, crackers, grapefruit juice, unripe mango, freshly cut grass, pine needles and starfruit. Mouthfeel is round, slightly astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with bread, grapefruit juice, grass, pine and unripe tropical fruits. Keg at the Rover, Goteorg, 21/03/14. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is punchy hops, light pine, bitter tropicals, mango, toasty aroma. Taste comprises orange pith, bitter citrics, light grapefruit, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid IPA.
