Gezapft im Brauhaus in Zwickau. Rötlich-Braun, eher klar. Angenehme Scahumkrone. Aroma: Malz, Karamell, Geschamck: Süß (Malz), bitter, Karamell, Kaffee. Balanciert.

Tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice creamy head. Malty-spicy aroma. Starts strong-malty, light alcoholic notes, spicy, hints of caramel, but not too sweet. Finish woody-earty, modest sweet background. Spicy aftertaste. Nice!

Tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass light yellow, nice head. Mild-yeasty aroma. Starts mild, malty-yeasty, not too dry. Light sweetish-fruity notes of banana. All in all mild and almost a bit washy. Still okay.

On tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass brownish-copper coloured, nice creamy head. Mild malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, modest roasty, light hints of caramel. Finish milder, well balanced, still malty-roasty. Could maybe be more dry, but still okay.

On tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass deep golden, creamy head. Starts mild, malty, fine spicy. Sweetish background, also a bit grasy. Hoppy notes are very shy. Finish well balanced. Quite drinkable. Not bad.

Draught @ Brauhaus Zwickau, Peter-Breuer-Straße 12 - 20, 08056 Zwickau, Saxony, Germany.Unclear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, fruity malt, light to moderate hoppy, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110920]
