Bottled. Brownish pour. A fairly boring light lager with a rye grainy tang to it. Nothing special here

Bottled. Your standard gold pilsner with some light grassiness. Pretty much what you’d expect.

Bottled. Pours a reddish brown. Fruity and spicy, maybe too heavy on the fruits. not super duper well balanced. Watery finish.

In a related note, sometimes I get a kick out of the rate beer glass recommendations but if you are drinking this or any kind of Shiner out of a flute be ready to get into a fight. more of a fruity christmas ale than a lambic or kriek or anything like that.

Draft. A weak tasting bock, tastes like a slightly sugared up & colored lager. Som light maltiness I guess. If you want to drink 10 bocks in one sitting I guess this is a good pick because its comparateively low alchohol will take longer to floor you than a real bock.

Can from giant eagle market place. Very light pale with slight haze. Slight lager nose, can barely pick up any lemon aroma. First taste is pleasant and friendly, this is a well balanced shandy. Nice easy lemon taste with just the right amount of tartness. I think these guys at spoetzl know what they're doing. I like the level of carbonation. In the middle I'm still getting satisfaction from this brew. Maybe its the slight amount of agave in there, not sure. Wow, in the end I wish I had another can. Great example of a well made shandy Shiner!
