Draught @ Hansens Brewpub, Flensburg. Pours cloudy light brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, light caramel, sweet fruit, strawberry-/marmelade, some buttery notes. Flavor is rather weak, malt, caramel, light sweet, some light bitter fruity hops, little citrus. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. 140515

Draught @ Flensburg Tall Ship Races 2015. Pours cloudy lightish copper brown with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of yeast and caramel. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with estery and fruity notes, complemented by bitter, hoppy touches. Estery and malty aftertaste. Creamy mouthfeel despite the rather high carbonation. Okay.

Milder, wenig hefiger Antrunk. Leichte Süße im Mittelteil, gleichzeitig marginal fruchtig. Im weiteren Verlauf wieder hefig und etwas herb, insgesamt eher langweilig. 10/7/9/7//7

Nice slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly yeasty, dried fruits, weeds, yeast, hay, citrus, dough, wheat, broth, grass, almonds, banana. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, wheat, yeast, dough, hay, weeds, almond essence, minerals, banana, broth. Little bitterness, slightly harsh yeasty mouthfeel. Fair enough, not as good as I remembered it...

Draught @ the brewpub shared with MrHangover. Hazy orange color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma and taste are very nice. Most weizens I have tasted had way too much banana and sweet candy flavors, but this is well balanced, lightly sweet, lightly herbal. Nice suitable lightly sparkling carbonation. If all weizen tasted like this I’d sure try more of them.

Draught @ brewpub. Opaque dark brown to black color, medium sized tan head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, a bit earthy, a hint of dark fruits, soft bitterness. Average yo medium body, a bit fizzy carbonation. Decent.
