The pour produces a deep copper body under a tall mostly white head. Soft citrus with some pine in the aroma. The flavor is slightly bitter with not much depth or complexity. This one is O.K. but I’ve had many others that went far above this one.

Bomber from the Natomas BevMo. Pours pretty black with a 3 finger foamy tan head. Aroma is fairly smokey, suggesting bacon to me. With wood. Med+ body with good carbonation. Flavor is woody, smokey, bacony. It’s dry and a little astringent. Very, very good.

Bottle from a trade with cbschubert. Pours cloudy golden color with white head. Aromas of citrus hops and caramel. Sweet caramel flavor with citrusy hops and lots of bitterness. Medium body with moderate carbonation and a dry finish. This must have been a really fresh bottle. I was suprised ho much I liked this based on the relatively low scores recently. Very nice. Thanks Craig.

Bottle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours slight hazy copper with a good, foamy off-white head. Think I’m getting resin/pine aroma. Med body. Flavor is light caramel with a lot of bitter hop, which seems to be a fruity/floral thing mixed with some nasty resin. Whatever, it is marvelously hoppy. It’s tending towards dry and astringent in the finish. Makes my mouth want to just curl up around it. Damn it’s bitter. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours with a hazy golden body and an off-white head. Aromas of canned pineapple, caramel, alcohol, pine, sticky, straw, manure, citrus (orange). I can already tell this is going to be underattenuated by the aroma. Flavors of cotton candy, straw, bitter (really bitter) with no hop flavors backing it up. Caramel, plastic, grass, canned pineapple. Not a well made IPA. Lively bubbles, big body. Cut the crystal malts and increase the knock out additions and dry hopping.

22oz bottle from Bevmo
Appearance: Slightly hazy golden with a medium sized off-white head and some lacing
Aroma: Caramel, tropical fruits, earthy and sweet malts
Taste: Caramel, tropical fruits, earthy with some pine bitter in the finish
A very interesting, enjoyable and unique aroma and flavor. Not sure this is a DIPA, but it is a nice beer.
