500ml bottle. Opalescent, minimally milky, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Funky yeasty, herbal and minimally fruity aroma, hints of mustard seed, sage, a touch of brine, basil, old lemon peel, old orange peel. Taste is sour, tangy, funky, slightly herbal, minimally (vinous) fruity, hints of sage, mustard seed, a touch of brine, vinegar, lemon juice, white grapes, gooseberry, old lime peel, old lemon peel, basil, dill. Oily-watery texture, dry, slightly astringent, simultaneously minimally greasy palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Quite rich and complex, relatively sour - a Saison for the advanced user...

Bottle, 330 ml from Little Beer Shop, Utrecht. Shared with Max. Very nice fruity, citrus, kiwi aroma. Bit vinous, some barrel, funky. Fruity tartness. Easy drinkable.

One of their best so far. Perfectly blended into a dry, effervescent, tropical tart stone fruit gem. Hints of the red wine barrel yet might've also guessed a stronger white wine. Definitely a brewery where you can be sure what you buy is great, no doubt.

Fruity, acidic, sour and tart. Vinaigrette, honeydew melon, faint red berries. Floral, sweet, a bit dry. Really interesting, could be smoother and less acidic but very nice.

I brought a couple Afterthought bottles with me when I switched continents. I knew I'd be needing some, and this certainly hits the spot. Very classic, dry and effervescent. Some of the oak shines through.
