(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, treacle-toffee, brown sugar, honey, rye bread, nuts, apricots and orange peel. Malty taste with caramel, toffee, bread, brown sugar, dried apricots, roasted nuts, honey, orange peel and a mild grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made polotmavý. Quite nice.

On tap at U Sado Prague. Almost black beer lasting tan head. liquorice dark beer sweetish. its a bit like a sweet stout. ok. some malt thats not attenuated.

Tap@TH. Bar, Valby - pours amber with a off white head. Sweet malty and fruity with some caramel, toffee, subdued hoppy undertones, light to medium body, sweet fruity and verging bitter hoppy into the close.

Als mich bei einer Osterfeier in einem westukrainischen Dorf der Onkel meiner Frau fragte, ob ich ein tschechisches Bier kosten wollte, erwartete ich mir ein Lizienz-Staropramen -stattdessen kam er mit diesem Bier (wobei er selbst nicht mehr wusste, wer es ihm geschenkt hatte) Die zweite positive Überraschung war, dass es für ein Zehngrädiges sehr vollmundig ist. Es hat einen recht tiefen malzaromatischen Körper und einen Einschlag Buttrigkeit. Es hat mir auf jeden Fall gut gefallen.
