Started brewing in Spring 2000, based in Hathern near Loughborough. In early 2007, following the retirement of one of the partners, the brewery was mothballed and brewing now takes place at Staffordshire Brewery (prev. Leek Brewery) in Leek, Staffordshire.

Bottle. Still syrupy amber beer with little head. The aroma is lightly bitter and the flavour smooth, lightly dry and caramel. Overall a nice gentle beer.

Bottle. Bronze beer with a strong smooth white head. The aroma is hopped and slightly toffee based and the flavour is very well hopped with a little toffee and a smooth big dry finish. Overall a very nice bitter.

Bottle. Fairly pale beer with a very light head. The aroma is light grassy and slightly hopped and the flavour is very well hopped and quite refreshing. Overall a nice bitter.

Cask@Leicester Beer Festival. Golden beer with a light malty and bitter aroma, and a slighlty bitter flavour with a burn’t after taste. Overall quite a poor beer.

Cask at the Ipswich Beer Festival 2004, gravity dispense. Aroma of ensilage and barnyard, some sulphur (over-cooked eggs). Flavour is OK, but light bodied and not very exciting. Weak background of acidity.

Watery beer with a slightly bitter/coffee flavour. The aroma is also lightly coffee scented. Overall a dull beer to drink.

Bottled. Copper coloured. Grapefruit aroma with a hint of apple. Medium bodied, sweetish and raisiny. Vinuous with notes of plums in the finish. Medium bitterness.
