From an old time favorite brewery. This light beer? I bought a case of it because of the price and forgot I didn’t rate it. Last can from a 24 pack of 12 ounce cans. Recalling rating from last night, wew. Refreshing pale yellow american style pale lager in looks and taste. however, I believe this to be significantly better than most lager and average for a Pennsylvania lager. Nothing offensive about this and rather enjoyable. Finish is fine and dandy tho it could be just a tad smoother. Nice to have a few of these after a ride on the thrashing machine.

Bottle. If you took a thimble full of beer and spilled it into a glass of water, it would give you this color. Bleached out gold with a fizzy bit of a head. Aromas are chalky and grassy... but very weak. Flavor is a bland malt with some adjunct and a bit of a peppery hops presence, but is very weak.

Draught Very dark mahogany with nearly no head Sourish malts, sour mash nose. Sweet-sour balance excellent, sugarloaded malts; bubblegum. Watery, very light. Ho-hum lager variant

12oz bottle pours deep amber with infra red edges, one inch mocha head and decent looking lacing. This is a nice looking Porter. The aroma is on the mild side with roasted malts, toast and roasted malt astringency. The astringency actually smells roasted. There is also a hint of fruity esters in there too with a decent draw. The taste has an inviting semi thick and creamy body for the style. The taste is mild with roasty malts and malt astringency. To midway and into the finish the roasted malts are met by a chocolate malts, burnt malts and a hint of sweet caramel. Nice offering.

12oz bottle pours amber with thin tan head. The aroma carries roasted malts, a hint of burnt malts, mild molasses and a bit of licorice. The flavor starts with mild roastiness and a tart sensation heightened by the carbonation. I also get some faint burnt malts mixed with vanilla, licorice, chocolate malts and a hint of toffee.

Weak grass and hay aroma, slightly shitty, with very light lemon notes. Yellow pour with a vanishing thin head. Seemingly flavorless initially, but weak grain presents at midpalate with a lemon grass finish. I’ve had worse and it made a good chaser for the chili beer I just had.

Slightly roasted barley aroma. Amber color, medium white head, good lacing. Metallic tasting and overly sour without justification. Weak flavor of grain, mild plastic finish.

Sort of thick tan head with a body that is not quite all the way black. Roasty, malty aroma with a whiff of the lager. Good porter taste that is knda screwed up by the presence of lager, but I guess I should have known since I was drinking a black and tan. Roasty and dark, but light on the palate at the same time.
