I didn’t get why they called this a premium. It doesn’t taste any better than normal Yuengling, as I had both of them side by side. True it is different a little bit, so that is a refreshing change sometimes. Not great, but cheap and definately drinkable.

It tastes like the lager, but with less flavour and less alcohol. Unless you like the fact that this has low calories, there is no reason to choose this above the far superior lager.

This is my father’s beer of choice, as such I have drank it more than virtually any other beer out there. It has its pluses, like the high alcohol content and the fact that it is better than most macro brews, but it is ultimately a watery beer with not enough flavour. Fortunately, the beer masks the high alcohol pretty well. Little hops and goodness. Who knows, maybe I am just sick of it.

A very standard beer, with an amber color and an average taste. The hops are not overpowering, but definatlely noticable. This beer is priced about the same as macro brews and is a whole lot better, so when there is a choice between this and Bud, I think that the choice is really clear. Not a bad beer for not a bad price, unfortunately ony available a lot in Philly and surrounding areas.

It smells like a beer...looks like a beer...must be a beer...although its light...I’m impressed...would drink again...:)

I’m shocked. This porter was actually quite good. Roasty malts, with a caramel flavor.

Ok, I’m drinken one now. The first time I drank it, I thought it a bit strange. A little teeny bit dishwatery. But now it is not too bad. Needs a little more carbonation. Not bitter, per se. Is a ’little’ darker than most american pale yellow beers! Got this one off my daughter. Her boyfriend likes plain ol’ yuengling.

Dark black body with a small brown head. Dry roasted malt aroma. Dry molassas and caramel flavor.

Dark, semi-translucent pour with a one and a half finger tan head that is pretty frothy. Some lacing. Aroma is of roasted malt... that’s about it. Flavor is a mixture of caramel-like sweetness and a bitter burnt malt bitter. Comes off slightly watery and fairly un-complex. Not bad, but not that good. As it warms slightly the sweetness gets even more obnoxious. I think this is one of those that is not that bad if it stays in the can, but for goodness sake, leave it in the can and drink it that way.

"Coors Light has more flavor than this"S.M.......who is this lord chesterfield??, and can I smack him around a bit?...weak! ps. 5.6% this is the only enjoyable aspect of this brew...
