(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber to copper colour with a short off-white foamy head. Slightly ashy and sweaty toast-malty aroma with notes of cacao, shades of toffee and a tinge of plastic in the background. Moderately sweet flavour with a touch of roasty bitterness, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pronounced toasty malt-character with caramel, cacao/chocolate and shy milky accents; medium dry, sweet and slightly burnt-bitter finish with a moderately lasting aftertaste of chocolate and caramel. Reminds me of a likeable Amber Ale. 16.IX.10

Bottle. Honey and hay malt aroma - actually kind of nice. Golden yellow color with minimal head. Slightly sweet barley malt and lightly bitter hay hops flavor. Really pretty good for an African pale lager.

11.2oz bottle. Murky amber-brown color, with a thin, steady beige head. Sweet and sugary, with a chocolate fruit aroma. Mild, really much more like a dunkel or schwarzbier. Medium bodied, with that Eastern European funky pungence. Overall a pretty decent beer. Some roasty tones. Certainly worth a try.

12oz bottle. Straw yellow with a super-soapy, steady head. Slight haze. Clean aroma, a touch of distant lemon maybe. Creamy, soft carbonation. As I remembered it, this beer is not bad at all. Somewhat like a noble hopped cream ale, there is a lot of doughy character. Not much hop character, just some faint lemon-peppery spiciness. Subtle and super drinkbable. Excellent session beer, well done.
