Bottle (0.33 l): Reddish amber coloured, small stable off-white head; toasted malt and caramel in the nose with a metallic tinge; mild, faint sweetish (malty) flavour with hidden traces of bitterness; short sweetish, toasted, a bit metallic finish, some bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad, but rather bland.............(Danke, MoritzF fuer diese Bouteille)

(Bottle 33 cl) Kinda unusual with a pils that helps itself out of the bottle as soon as the cap is removed, but that’s what happened here. Pale golden with a rich and frothy head. Nice hoppy aroma. Flavours are harmonious and balanced between sweet malt and a marked - but not overwhelming - bitterness. Well made. 081102

(Bottle 33 cl) Handsome, brown colour with a creamy but collapsing head. Marked malty sweetness and only a hint of bitterness. Very pleasant. I agree: more of a Dunkel than a Landbier really. 020802

(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a rather small head. A quite harmonious pilsener with a touch of aroma hops not leaving much bitterness. Decent, if nothing more. 200602

Bottle. An chocolate malt and tannic aroma. Medium to dark brown color with small tan head. Burnt malt and mild chocolate flavor - mild astingency. Palate pretty watery. This is labelled as a Landbier but is closer to a dunkel.

A red-brown beer with a disappearing light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor.

Bottled. Nut brown with rich head. Roasty aroma. Rather dry with empty, bold mouthfeel and a lightly salty finish. Simple and uninspired.
