Bottle from Coop. Pours almost clear golden. Aroma is pale malts, straw, grass, hints of yeast residues. Body is medium and is almost indistinguishable from a pale lager. Some malt sweetness, some bitterness, almost nothing which makes a ZKL a ZKL. Disappointing. Okay as a lager, but even for that it's not particularly good.

Draught @ Johanniter, Zürich. Aroma has some sewer tones and grain. Flavour has buttery tones, malt, some menthol, mild grassy hops and hints of mint. Bulky, looks and tastes like a pale lager.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a big head. Aroma is grassy hops and flowers at first, later more banana, sugar and little booze. Body is medium, lively carbonated, pleasantly and softly sweet, leading to a rather dry palate. Quite smooth and good to drink. Good.

0.33l bottle from coop in zermatt, 2.50 fr. pours a cloudy honey yellow with a dense white head. aroma of yeast, bread, grassy and sulphuric hops. flavour of grass, grapefruit zest, bread. citrusy bitter finish.
