Bottle, from trade with papsoe. A clear, ruby to dark brown beer with a beige head. Roasted to burnt, coffeeish aroma, yet quite sweetish, and with some notes of alcohol. Sweet and sticky in the mouth with roasted, or maybe burnt, malt, leading to a lasting roasted finish. Medium to full body, warming and sticky in the mouth. I wasn’t expecting much from this one, considering the other Bjert beers, but it was a decent one, even though it was a bit boring. Don’t think it’s suited for cellaring. (080412)

Bottle, thx to Maria. An unclear, copper-colored beer with a tiny beige head. Sweetish aroma with roasted malt and some alcohol. Sweetish, fruity-sour flavor, slightly roasted, with some caramel and alcohol, leading to a sweet and slightly fruity finish. Full-bodied, sticky, warming and with a soft carbonation. It’s slightly better than the Rudolph from the same brewery, but that’s it. (080412)

Bottle, from trade with papsoe. It’s a copper colored, clear beer with some beige head. More a layer or two of bubbles than a real head though. Fruity nose, tending towards rotten fruit, with candisugar, some alcohol and some caugh medicine notes. Fruit-syrupy sweet flavor with some licorice. Medium, sticky mouthfeel. A small glass is enough of this beer, it’s sure one of the weirdest bock beers I’ve had, but still drinkable. (080412)
