On tap at the brewpub: Hazy, amber coloured, sweetish, malty nose with a tinge of honey; sweet flavour, a bit sticky; sweetish, nearly cloying finish , almost without any bitterness. Pretty sweet lemonade, rather unpleasant...............

On tap at the brewpub: Hazy, golden coloured, yellowish foamy head; faint sweetish nose with a tinge of bitterness; distinctive bitter flavour, fizzy mouthfeel; longer, quite spicy bitter-sweet finish. More aromatic than their quite boring Pils.

On tap (@ Rütershoff): Now clear (!), golden coloured, lacing white foam; grainy, malty nose; slightly bitter-sweet flavour; short, mild bitter finish. Drinkable, but not so impressive, very light bodied, nearly watery.............

(1000ml swing top bottle) Almost clear reddish brown colour with a big and slowly lacing, slightly off-white foamy head. Medium sweet aroma of toasted malts with a touch of caramel and a floral (hoppy) note. Moderately sweet and malty taste, also with caramel and a hint of milk chocolate. Light to medium bodied and carbonated, but quite crispy mouthfeel. Rather thin, slightly sweet malty and hoppy finish. Decent German brewpub Dunkel.

(1000ml swing top bottle) Hazy yellow colour with a thick and sticky foamy, slightly yellow head. This one tastes like a lighter version of their seasonal Wiesen. Sweet maltiness combined with low hoppiness and a dense fruity tone.

(on tap at the brewpub) Slightly cloudy golden colour with a foamy white medium head. A tad sweet malty aroma with yeasts and notes of pears. Initially malty, very soft and smooth mouthfeel, lightly hopped and rather sweet malty finish with a touch of pears again. Quite quaffable Zwickel-type brew, definitely not what I expect from a Oktoberfest/Märzen, but anyway pleasant to drink.

(on tap at the brewpub) Hazy golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Faint grassy hoppy nose with yeasts and a shy malty blend. Dry malty taste, crisp and bitter hoppy finish. Decent unfiltered brewpub Pilsener, not bad but quite boring.
