Bottled. Coppery brown colour with no head, but rather thick/oily when pouring. Aroma is nutty, some alcohol toasted notes with some honey too. Flavour is honey, some herbal, mild zesty and nutty tones with some slight alcohol sweetness too. Smooth to drink. Not as oily palate, as I feared when pouring into the glass.

Bottled. Deep amber colour with no head. Aroma is cinnamon, some alcohol, honey and mild toffee tones. Flavour is a bunch of honey with some toffee, cinnamon and mild gingery tones to it. Smooth and not burning at all. Dangerously good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’ place. Thanks Vova. Reddish brown color. Aroma of honey, lots of spices, herbs, licorice, caramel, alcohol. Sweet flavor, herbal and spicy, bitter touch. Syrupy.

Bottle 50 cl at Gothenburg Beer Festival 2013 (Haket), Saturday, sampled on September 7, 2013.Clear dark red color, small bubbles for a tiny head, some oily legs. Sweet, "glögg", glühwein, cinnamon, spicy, alcohol scent. Sweet, spicy, cinnamon taste. Spicy aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness.Feels like this would work very well heated a cold winter day.

Bottle 50 cl at Gothenburg Beer Festival 2013 (Haket), Saturday, sampled on September 7, 2013.Wrote down "Královská medovina orechová" 50 cl 16% ABV (walnut).Clear dark reddish brown color, oily legs. Sweet, some roasted notes, alcohol, a bit of berry scent. Semi sweet, herbal, spicy, bitter, zest taste. Resin, zest aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel.

Bottle 250ml. @ Fanø¸ Tasting 2010.Clear medium amber color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate honey, moderate to light heavy alcohol, caramel and nutty notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, alcohol, light nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat. [20100724]
