On tap at Cph Beerfestival. Clear, golden-orange beer with no carbonation and an off-white head. Sweet and estery aroma with banana, citrus and spices. Malt, alcohol, banana and spices in the flavor. Medium and sweet body. Spiced and bitter finish. At 9% ABV the alcohol is well hidden. (060519)

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, almost clear amber colour with a handsome, creamy, white head leaving a curtain of laces. Fat, oily hop aroma with a citric touch. Medium body with light notes of caramel, but otherwise completely dominated by aroma hops leaving wonderful fruity accents - peach, pineapple and grapefruit. For a malthead like me this is way too hoppy with its 128 IBU, but I must admit that it’s an exceptionally well crafted American style IPA. Impressive indeed. 220606

Draught at Købehavnske Øldage 2006. Pours a dark brown, almost black colour with a brown head. Has a dry slightly roasted aroma. Dry roasted malty flavor with some hints of chocolate. Dry finish with some bitterness.

Draught. Weak, peppery aroma, I seem to get a little smoke also. Quite cloudy, very dark red colour. Big, semi-stable, light brown head. The flavour is quite malty and a bit acidic. Roasted aftertaste. After a few months more of lagering the flavour is more rounded and less sharp. Definitely improved.

Draught at Købehavnske Øldage. Hazy brown colour with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with some hints of yeast. Sweet malty flavor with some hints of yeast. Dry warming yeasty finish.

Draught. Very nice, fruity and hoppy aroma. Quite clear dark golden colour. The flavour is OK peppery, but has a hint of asparagus and maggiterning. Good mouthfeel. 6 3 5 3 12 Summer version, V2: Draught. Weak fruity aroma. Almost clear, dark golden colour. Small creamy white head. Fruity, but clean flavour. (On tap) Beautiful, clear mahogany with a warm, reddish hue. Small, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and yeast. Vinous notes of marzipan and dried fruits. Some candy sugar presence, but mainly dominated by roasted malt. Yet a rather dry finish with some bitterness. Lovely. 200506

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Hazy deep golden. Evident banana aroma. Sweet and estery with full body. Plenty of candy sugar. Too sweet with some tinned pineapple in syrup. Malt sweet finish with no bitterness.
