Draught. V5. Very dark brown colour, almost no head. Sweet, very vinous aroma with a spicy yeastiness. Good mouthfeel. Yeasty flavour, coffee, sweet and smooth. Roasted and fruity aftertaste. ABV is not very noticable, would have preferred more pepperiness.

Batch 060206-01: Cloudy golden with a medium head. Fruity aroma with peach and grapefruit. Refreshing intense hop dominated flavour, not too much for my taste. Excellent aftertaste.

2008 re-rate: Somewhat soapy citrus hop aroma. Very bitter, but also rather sweet.

Batch 200106-01: Hazy dark golden with a medium off-white head. Hops and hay aroma, with the hay almost dominating. Smooth and dry flavour, with the hops still making a grass-ish impression. Nice bitter finish.

A deep red beer with an OK brown head. The aroma is sweet and slightly burnt and with hints of plastic. The flavor is sweet with light notes of chocolate, but also light notes of burnt plastic. Drinkable, but not good. I find it closer to a light porter than a schwarzbier with the chocolate notes.

A hazy orange beer with a nice off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and caramel, while the flavor has light notes of ammonia as its main part, leading to a dry strawy end.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours completely black and opaque with a handsome, creamy, beige head. Slightly burned, ashy nose. Medium body with plenty of roasted malt and some lightly burned accents. Dry, light bitter finish. Fairly decent, but perhaps more a Stout than a Schwarzbier. Thanks to BierKönig for sharing. 100306

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy dark amber with a small, off-white head. Not much banana in the aroma, but some indefinable fruity esters. Rather light-bodied wirh some caramel. Distinct sourness - not unpleasant, but definitely flawed and off. Could be wort a re-rate if one can get a flawless example. Thanks to BierKönig for sharing. 100306

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, fully golden with a small, rough, off-white head. Sweetish, malty nose with a lightly fruity, hoppy touch. Medium body completely dominated by sweet pilsener malt and perhaps a wee caramelish edge. Light bitter finish. Quite lovely with a solid, artisan touch. Thanks to BierKönig for sharing. 100306

A hazy dark orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has hints of burnt rubber and alcohol. The flavor is sour with notes of wood and burnt rubber, as well as light notes of caramel, leading to a very dry end. I sure hope the quality will improve in the future.
