--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Dark brown, small head. Aroma of treacle, coffee and tobacco. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Fudge, tobacco and coffee. Warming husky bitter finish.

[ As Koulu Imperial Stout ].
ABV: 10.0%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted - roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, moderate chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, licorice - wood, sweet malt, chocolate - roasted. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20240424]

Smell of coffee, roasted malt, licorice. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of burnt malt, molasses, ash, cough mixture. Bitter and sweet. Lively carbon.

Smell of hops, spruce, some citrus and sweet fruit. Clear amber colour, small white head. Aroma of spruce, citrus, overripe fruit, finishes with malt, lemon and some soap. Soft carbon. Medium bitter, medium sweet. Quite nice, but since when is 6.8 % a ”double” IPA?

Tap@brewery. Slightly hazy golden beer with almost no head. Aroma and flavor has yeast, some herbs and malts. Bit boring.

Tap@brewery. Hazy muddy brown beer with medium head. Aroma and flavor has malts and bread. Some chocolate too. Decent brew.

Draught at the brewpub - Dark brown with orange tinges. Caramel, rye and some raisins in the aroma. Rye, dried fruit, caramel and some slightly metallic and smoky notes in the aroma.
