Bottle. A clear brown beer with a beige head. Toffee, butter, some roasted malt and coffee in the aroma. Sweet flavor, with a faint coffee note, some roasted flavors, butterscotch, toffee and bitterness. Feels a bit thin in the mouth, and finishing sweet with coffee and a decent bitterness. The beer is too buttery I think, but it’s sure drinkable. I prefer other Kvajj beers though. (080509)

Bottle. Pours a clear, golden body under a white head leaving some lacings. A bit unclean aroma, malty and grainy, quite sweetish, with some butter and a subdued hoppyness and fruityness. Malty, slightly buttery flavor with some fruits and bitterness. Medium body. It finishes with malt and some bitterness. A little caramel too. A quite decent and drinkable beer, nothing more. (080509)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Hazy amber golden with floating impurities and a creamy, beige head. Sweetish, fruity, caramellish nose. Quite full-bodied, sweetish caramel, fruit and a little ashyness. Some bitterness in the finish. Not sure if this was intended as a Bock, but if so it didn’t really come out as such. Still a decent brew though. 270408

Hazy amber color. The aroma is not very hoppy. Indeed it’s similar to a bock, a bit earthy, and light. Good body structure, good malt and caramel flavor, godd bitterness; it’s just a pity for a missing better aromatic hop and for some diacetyl.

Amber color; creamy head. It has a quite nice aroma: cereals, hop and caramel, typical of the low fermented beers. Quite good body, with monotonic caramel flavor, low fermentation esters (maybe the lagering...) And strong bitterness. Not a classic IPA, but ok.

Draught at ÅBF08. Buttery aroma. Hazy amber colour. Butter flavour, hint of hops. Not too bad, but the butter is not good here.

Draught at ÅBF08. Caramelly aroma, a little butter. Hazy light brown colour. The flavour has some good hops, unfortunately also a little butter. Good sweetness. Would have been great without the butter. Partly saved by the alcohol. 5
