Bottle. A clear, dark amber, almost brown actually, mead with no carbonation. Oily. The aroma has lots of Christmas spices, cardamom the most evident, rum raisins blends in. The honey is left in the background. The flavor is pretty much the same, the honey is left in the background with the spices dominating. Spiced mead is fine, but I like the honey to do the major work. Quite warming, full-bodied mouthfeel, with a spiced finish where honey sweetness do some work. A quite nice one, but too spiced. 100813

Bottle. A clear, amber mead, oily pour and without any carbonation. The aroma has a lovely honey touch, but it’s way over-powered by rose aromas. Alcohol blends in, but not in a disturbing way. The flavor is sweet and very flowery, leaving the honey with the second, maybe third, violin. Some sourness too. Oily, full-bodied and warming, finishing with a lasting honey and flower flavor. 50 cL clear glass bottle, courtesy of cgarvieuk. Pours clear and golden orange with no head. Aroma is spiced, honey and herbal. Distinct cinnamon spiced. Sweet honey and cinnamon spiced flavoured. Herbal dry cinnemon impression into the finish.

Bottled@Yespr. Amber colour, no head. Aroma is almond, some honey and some mild wooden and resiny notes. Flavour is almond, honey and some spices. Very pleasant aroma.
