Bottle, at Copenhagen Beerfestival. A clear, yellowish beer with a small, dense, white head. Grainy aroma with alcohol and some DMS. The flavor is much the same, but with a nice bitterness towards the end. Not that the bitterness lifts the experience to a whole new level... Medium to full body, slightly warming. Not my idea of a drinkable beer, slightly unclean, and not very good. (090517)

On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. Out of the tap comes a hazy, golden brown beer topped by a small but dense beige head. Lacings are left as the glass is emptied. Aromas of malty sweetness, caramel and some fruits escape from the glass. In the mouth too it’s on the sweet side, with some toffee, dried fruits and hints of fresh fruits in the background. Medium body, almost sticky. When swallowed, a sweet and fruity flavor is left in the mouth. Overall, it’s a decent beer, and considering the brewery I didn’t expect more either, but compared to other brews of the same style, it’s a bland one, not worthy a revisit. (090516)
