Aroma of fruity caramel, fruity resinous hops, no alcohol
Taste of lots of caramel malts, fruity toffee, nice zesty hops, really drinkable
Palate - Medium to full body, rich sweet malts, bitter zest. Finish as main flavour, rich.
Overall - Good stuff

Cash at IBWF15. Lemon gold with a large white head. Aroma is bread and citrus. Flavour is dusty bitter hop, citrus on a dry grainy finish.

Draught at IBWF15. Light lemon gold with a thin head. Amon is lemon pine. Flavour is lots of citrus, fruity and clean, easy drinking.

Growler. Deep Amber with a medium head. Aroma is hop, pine and sweetish malt. Flavour is full on, herbal hop, chalky and sticky. Lovely stuff

Bottleshare at Leighton’s flat. Thanks to Rocket Rudkin. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Mild dried fruits. Little skewed floralness. Mild crisp finish. Peel bitter linger. Okay.

Bottle shared at the ’Beers of London’ Tasting MkII, Bespin Cloud City - Hyde Park zone, from Callans Dundalk, 11/02/15. Lightly hazed orange with moderate off white spotting and edgework, Nose is bitter citric rind, light yeast, vanilla custard, trace of diacetyl. Taste cmprises pear drops, straw, vanilla, citric peel, grass, yeast esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not great.

Backlog rating from 20/11/14. On draught at P Mac’s. Pours a deep copper with a small white head that’s gone before I have time to pick up the glass. Juicy grapefruit and pine, some tropical fruit, bready malts, sticky aroma...enticing. Flavour is a bit of a let down from the aroma, overly acidic, astringent. Keeps the grapefruit and citrus bitterness, but the sticky sweetness comes through as well, a bit unbalanced. Finish is hop resin bitterness with sugary sweetness that sticks to the teeth.

Backlog rating from 15/11/14. Pumpkin beers seem to go one of two ways for me, either the brewer wants to make a beer with authentic pumpkin and autumn spice flavours, or wants to make something that tastes like artificially sweet pumpkin pie. Both have their respective virtues and sins. This was more of the authentic route, nicely and tastefully muted and understated with more of a cinnamon highlight than the pumpkin.

On draught at ATG. Vic Secret seems to be the hop of the moment, seems to give a muted grapefruit aroma but really comes through in the flavour. This is no different, solid malt backbone of bread and biscuit, but the bitter hop notes really make this shine.

Backlog rating from 27/10/14. On draught at ATG. First beer around noon, didn’t want anything too strong, pours a cloudy, murky gold with rocky white head, nice bubblegum and slight ripe fruit aroma. Grainy and bready flavour with a clean finish, not too sweet. Nice.
