Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Klare hell wässrig gelbe Farbe, kein Schaum. Geruch nach reifen Birnen, Trauben, etwas Alkohol. Geschmack nach trockenen reifen Birnen, Honig, alkoholisch wärmend, nett!

Many thanks to travlr for this bottle! Sweetish nose like glue. No pears there. The perry starts intense and sweetish. Due to the high ABV, I assume that sugar was added - otherwise the ABV of a perry is much lower! And the taste confirms this a bit. Sweetish-strange aroma there. The pears are far behind in the background, sweetish-sticky aroma in the front. The aftertaste is soft and sweet with pears there, but not too natural. A bit sharp and sticky. Interesting but way too sweet.

Bottle from the source. Clear pale yellow color, flat. Aroma of pepper flesh and apple skins. Taste has soft heat, noticeable but not overwhelming.

Poured from a bottle at a rb tasting it is a very light white yellow color with no head. The aroma is apple and the taste starts out with that of apple and then shockingly gets into the heat if the jalapeno. I am not a hot spice perdon

From a 750 ml bottle shared at the March 2014 DC RB gathering. Pours clear pale gold with no head. Peppery nose. Flavors of apple with a powerful jalapeno kicker. Lingering spicy finish.

4000 ratings! Thanks Gene! Poured a clear light yellow color no head to speak of, perhaps a slight wisp, but that is it. This particular mead is two fold, both for my 4000th rating and my first North dakota beer tick. This one is a slight crisp apple and light jalapeno character. flavor is some light jalapeno, some apple, pepper. crisp, enjoyable notes. alcohol is totally masked. enjoyed this one enough. warming in my stomach.
