Hazy amber beer, good white head. Semi dry and crisp palate. Smoky! Smooth malt that is quite smoky but it is a smooth smoke and not one of these overwhelming ash-tray beers. A little fruity hop peeping through the smoke haze. Finishes smooth and dry with a little peach.

Aroma has butter and some hints of roastiness. Flavour has lots of butter toffee, some roastiness, hints of solvent and hay. Palate is too high on CO2. Weird and not good.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki (shared with Mankke & co). Hazy orangeish golden colour, small white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is mild wheat, yeast, some slight bready malts, grains and mild herbal notes. Flavour is wheat, mild dishwater (without the perfumy notes), mild dry sour wooden notes as well as some slight yeast.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is tiger balsam, some spices, malts and mild rubbery notes. Flavour is quite vegetably along with some spices, fruits and mild wooden notes. Not that bad. Interesting attempt at something different.

Dunkler, etwas süßer und röstiger Malzantrunk. Aromatisch röstig, die Süße ist passend gesetzt. Dazu kommt ein nach und nach einsetztender und natürlich wirkender Hopfen, der nur zaghaft in das Geschehen eingreift. Zum Ende etwas süßer, das frische Röstaroma bleibt lange erhalten. Geruch nach heller Soja-Sauce, sehr eigen, gewürzig, zum Teil nach Gemüse. Weicher Antrunk, süß, später etwas herb. In sehr eigener Art gewürzig ohne aber zu abgehoben zu sein. Weiter gemüseartig, der Honig zeigt sich hierbei deutlich in der passenden und ebenfalls nicht übertriebenen Süße. Der verwendete Rosmarin wirkt unterdessen eher im Hintergrund, ist aber dennoch wichtiger Bestandteil. Sehr harmonisch, was auch im weiteren Verlauf bleibt. Etwas gewürziger werdend, der Alkoholgehalt zeigt sich nun kurz ansatzweise. Wenig trocken-bitter im Abgang. Im Nachgeschmack wird das Beir zwar schnell milder, verharrt aber auf dieser Stufe, so dass die Aromen in mildem Umfang noch sehr lange auf der Zunge liegen. Dark, almost opaque brown color, huge fluffy brownish head. Tobacco, caramel, toasted malts in the aroma. Active carbonation, tickling! Light to medium bodied. Some toasted malts, tobacco, coffee beans, vegetables. Carbonation is so active that it disturbs badly for enjoying this beer.

Bottled 330ml (Old Bank, BB 05/2011)
Slightly hazy orange-brown color, small white head. Strong aroma of pipe tobacco. Crisp carbonation, light body. Acidic-citrusy flavor with strong Bamberg smokeyness. Dry finish with orange-peel fruityness. Too weak palate for smoked beer.

Bottled@Old Bank, Turku. Hazy nutbrown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is very sweetly malty slong with some mild toasted notes, yeast as well as some toffee. Flavour is rather sweet malts along with some toasted notes and mild hayish notes.

Bottled@omhpertasting. Hazy orangeish golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, some mild wooden notes, mild tartness as well as some wheat and mild spicyness as well. Flavour is very similar along with some yeasty notes. A quite smooth and pleasant witbier.
