Sampled at the Manitou Wine Festival. Nice clover and wildflower honey, with a subtle touch of spruce, which tones down the sweetness a bit. This is a tasty, well made mead, but the juniper doesn’t really add much...

Sampled at the Manitou Wine Festival. The nose is brilliant clover honey, with good hop character of orange peels and pine. Very sweet, with a fairly significant hop bitterness that gives it a good dry finish. This is a surprisingly balanced, aromatic, and delicious mead.

Bottle pour at Skep & Skein, pours a hazy blonde with a tiny white head. Nose brings out moderate honey sweetness. Flavour is along the same lines, with a light wild quality that dries it out just enough. Very honey-ish. Solid but nothing amazing.

Sampled at Elizabeth Station, pours a clear blonde. Nose is syrupy with lots of honey and alcohol. Flavour is syrupy and cloying, with a medicinal taste and lots of alcohol. Not the most refined mead by any means. Too syrupy, cloying and medical. Not so good.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a clear orange amber with no head. Nose brings out honey and bees wax. Flavour is fairly weak for the style, with honey, bees wax, and light raspberry. Very thin mouthfeel for the style, but the flavours are nice enough. Decent mead.
