Wow, I cannot believe that I paid $8.70 for a 12 oz can of this! Aromas are yeasty with a little bit of fruit. Flavors are sweet with strong medicinal component and a harsh alcohol body. Not easy to drink.

Very nice. Med honey sweetness: lemon/apricot/pear/peach/floral/earthy spice. Balanced/lightly tart/dry/semicrisp carb finish. Very smooth. --- Beer merged from original tick of Redstone Sunshine Nectar on 25 Jun 2016 at 17:58 - Score: 8. Original review text:

Bottle pour at Skep & Skein, pours a hazy blonde with a tiny white head. Nose brings out moderate honey sweetness. Flavour is along the same lines, with a light wild quality that dries it out just enough. Very honey-ish. Solid but nothing amazing.

Can. Pours a clear pale yellow with minimal carbonation and no head. Aroma has a nice sweet apricot note that works well with the honey and just a hint of dryness. Flavor is similarly sweet with honey and apricot up front and some more dry honey in the finish.

Great American Beer Festival 2012. Nearly clear, fine for a mead. Honey aroma and sweet flavor with apricot, but the honey is more pronounced. Some yeast in the finish.

Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Pours a crystal clear pale yellow color with no head and slight legs. Floral aroma with touches of cinnamon. Medium body with flavors of sweet spices and honey. The finish is sweet with a short fruit aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

A pale yellow mead with no head. In aroma, sweet fruity honey wit apple and apricots. In mouth, a smooth light menthol, honey, minty apricots, nice and smooth. Bottle at Mondial 2012, June 10 2012.

On tap at the hay merchant. Pours a clear white gold with no head. The aroma is rice and nail polish. Thin mouthfeel with a very tart flavor with alcohol burn. Not much going on with this one.

Very little aroma, lightly floral. Crystal clear, extremely pale yellow, some carbonation. Apple, and lemon flavor finishes with honey. Drinks so much more like a cider I had o re-check the label several times. Who knew apricot + honey = apple?
